Oil Stains
If your car seat leather has the oil stains, then you can go for corn starch. This is an excellent product to remove the oil stains from the seat. Stains from sweat, food or even hair are oil-based stains and you can easily remove this from corn starch. But before that, you will have to know the right process to do it. Simply rub the corn-starch into the stain with your fingertips.
After that you will have to rub it clockwise for about 30 seconds, then counter clockwise for another 30 seconds. If you do not have corn starch available then you can also go for potato starch or even talcum powder. The corn starch has proved to be the best remover for oil-based stains.
Water Stains
You would think that water cleans things but not stains them. Well, this is a myth. At times, drops of water can actually cause the irritating stain marks as well. But if your car seat leather has any water stain, then it will not be very tough to remove. This is only the dark line on the outside of the spot that is the actual stain. Once you remove that, the inside is not actually visible.
Mold or Mildew Stains
These stains not just appear as an unpleasant thing, but if left untreated it can actually make your car smell unpleasant as well. This is why to remove the stain from car seat leather, you can simply make a solution of half rubbing alcohol and half water. This helps to remove the stains directly.
